
ABOUT MEGAN
My name is Megan Trewartha-Ledingham, and I am a Can-Fit-Pro certified Personal Training Specialist, a certified Fitness Kickboxing Instructor (level 3), and have also taken courses in core assessment and training, nutrition, jump rope training, and pre/post-natal fitness. I have 14 years of instructing experience, and I have worked with over 300 women! I want to EMPOWER you, MOTIVATE you, help you reach your fitness GOALS. Most importantly, I want you to have FUN doing it!
My fitness philosophy is that once you start enjoying fitness instead of thinking of it as a chore, the possibilities are endless!!! Many people don't make fitness a priority - work, family life, and other commitments provide many excuses, but the truth is, if you are not taking care of your overall health, you will be less successful in the other areas of your life.
I think women's fitness is a more complex issue than just physical appearance - it affects our mental and emotional state as well. With all of the social pressures we face, and therefore all of the pressure we put on ourselves, it is important to stay focused on being healthy. I am passionate about helping women achieve their best level of fitness, and having a positive environment to do it in!
When I’m not instructing, you can find me playing basketball, at my cottage, practicing yoga, or trying to keep up with my twin girls! I love spending time researching the latest in health and well-being, and bringing that information to my clients.
